About the event

Grassland Bird and Grazing Pasture Walk
Join us at Prairie Pastured Beef LLC to learn how Carl has used managed grazing to convert brush and depleted land to lush productive pasture that supports grassland bird habitat. Ashly Steinke of Audubon Great Lakes will be present to answer questions and share how to become bird friendly certified. Then hear from NRCS on the considerations to make when deciding to graze wetland reserve program (WRP) land. A meal will be provided following the pasture walk.
