The Spa Valley Railway has launched the Kent Evening Cheese Train which will depart on Saturday 19 July 2025 at 7pm and will return at 9.30pm from Tunbridge Wells West Station.
The Kent Cheese Train will make two return trips along the picturesque Spa Valley Railway from Tunbridge Wells West to Eridge, passing through Groombridge and High Rocks.
During the relaxing journey through the beautiful Wealden countryside passengers can enjoy a generous selection of four local cheeses arranged through a partnership with The Cheese Shop, Tunbridge Wells. The cheeses are served with a variety of Fine Cheese Co. crackers alongside Caramelised Onion Marmalade and Apricot and Ginger chutney.
A selection of appetisers and snacks including breads, olives, stuffed peppers, and grapes will be at your table along with a drink of your choice which could be either a small cider or white, red or rose wine or a soft drink.
The experience is £42 per person.

It's easy to reach Tunbridge Wells West Station (where the steam and heritage trains depart) as the station is just round the corner from the famous Pantiles in the Spa Town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Trains from London and Hastings also arrive at Tunbridge Wells mainline station which is only a 10-minute leisurely walk down the historic High Street and across the Pantiles to the Spa Valley Railway.
