Come join us for our Winter Solstice well-being day ✨️
This is the shortest day of the year, when the sun appears to 'standstill' in the sky before we slowly begin to see the light extend again.

Coming from the latin words 'Solstium' 'sol' sun 'sistere' standstill, its believed to be a time recognised for centuries by various tribes and religions around the world, as a time to celebrate the end of harvest and the mid point between the Autum and Spring equinox.
During these times, it's believed that the Romans celebrated the upcoming time of light, where even the enslaved people were temporarily given back their freedom to join in the fires and celebrations of the day. Known as 'Saturnalia', a week long festival in the run up to the winter solstice, where Saturn, God of agriculture, was celebrated to recognise the shift in the seasons.
Magnificent sacred stones across the lands became places to celebrate dawn on this day, some having been oriented towards the winter sunset. Still to this day, a place for people to gather and celebrate.
A tradition for some, festival for others but a time for everyone to look forward to longer days and the return of the sun in the Northern hemisphere 🌞
We can't wait to share our collective, creative passions with you ❤️
With love
