Festival izvornog naziva „Musica sacra über die Grenzen“ kojeg je dirigent Manfred Linsbauer prije više od 25 godina pokrenuo s idejom da stanovnici Austrije i susjednih zemalja zajedno stvaraju glazbu, u 2015. se po prvi puta održao u Hrvatskoj. Zemlje domaćini dosadašnjih izdanja Musice Sacre bile su Austrija, Češka, Slovačka, Italija i Slovenija.
Festival se održava u dva prelijepa istarska grada: Rovinj (www.tzgrovinj.hr) i Vrsar (www.infovrsar.com/hr). Sudionici će imati prilike upoznati ljepote Istarske županije i nastupati na predivnim lokacijama.
"Musica Sacra – over the boarders” international choral festival, with over 20 years of tradition that will take place in Croatia for the fifth time in a row. The previous festivals were hosted in Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy and Slovenia.
Festival was initiated by Manfred Linsbauer in Austria over 20 years ago. It is meant to bring people from all neighboring countries of Austria together to make music. Its emphasis is to cultivate spiritual
– often classical – music for choirs.
„Musica sacra across the boarders” means more than 20 years of international understanding, over 100 participating choirs, thousands of listeners over the years.
The festival takes place in two beautiful Istrian towns: Rovinj (www.tzgrovinj.hr ) and Vrsar (www.infovrsar.com/hr ) and the participants will have the opportunity to see all the beauty of Istria county on tours and concerts in various places in destination.
