"Goodbye, Butterfly" book signing at Drew's Bookstore in Round Rock, Texas

I will be signing my debut book, "Goodbye, Butterfly: Murder, faith and forgiveness in a small Kansas town," at Drew's Bookstore in Painted Tree in Round Rock. Please note that the location could change to one in Austin, and we are finalizing the time.

This is one of the first signings we've booked outside of Kansas, and I'm excited to share this story with the folks in Texas!

"Goodbye, Butterfly" is the true story of the shocking murder of 12-year-old Brenda Keller in tiny Dover, Kansas, a small town 15 minutes from Topeka.

"Goodbye, Butterfly" details Brenda’s idyllic upbringing and her murderer’s gut-wrenching childhood. Their collision resulted in one of the worst crimes in the state’s history, one that angered a grieving town, revealed flaws in the legal system, and left numerous questions unanswered.

Through it all, Brenda’s father, Bob, was a pillar of strength and faith. At his daughter’s funeral, he spoke of forgiveness for the man who took her life. When most would have buckled to hate, he put the killer in God’s hands, knowing he had to do so to begin healing.
