Welcome to John T. Magee Middle School! We are very excited to have you join our school community. Please join us Wednesday, August 13th 8:00AM - 12:00PM in the Gym for an orientation designed for 6th grade students to experience Middle School on their own.
If you ride a bus, your bus will pick you up and drop you off at your stop. The bus will pick you up exactly 1 hour after your normal scheduled time, which is listed in IC. Please contact the transportation department if you are unsure of your busing information.
If you are a walker, you can enter through the front doors or door 00 in the back.
If you get dropped off, please have your ride drop you off and pick you up at door 00 in the back of the building (circle drive).
At orientation, you will meet your 8th grade mentors and get to know them and many of your fellow classmates. You will also get your schedule and a tour of our building. Your mentor will not only help you through orientation but will be here for you all year to help with finding your way, answering questions, working on homework, and many other activities.
You do not need to bring any school supplies to orientation, just yourself. School supplies should be brought on the first day of school. All parents are welcome to attend the Open House August 13th from 6:00 - 7:30PM.
