Cops & Bobbers Fishing Derby

Children, ages 5-16 years old and their family members, are invited to take part in this community-building event. Come out and enjoy a morning of fishing with officers from the Round Lake Beach Police Department!

Bring your fishing pole and favorite bait. Don’t have your own? The event’s sponsor, Huebner Fishery Management, will provide rental poles and worms (free).

No registration required. However, a valid fishing license is required for those over the age of 16, per the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.

There will be prizes provided by Walmart-Round Lake Beach and the RLA Park District awarded for each division!

Halloween costumes are optional but encouraged.
