Rider Down - Rotorua

Rider Down is a Crash Prevention, Scene Management & First Aid for Motorcycle Riders. This workshop is sponsored by the Rotorua Lakes Council and Ulysses.
Expert tutor, Mark Going is a skilled and experienced trainer, who is a long-time rider, a qualified tutor, and a Critical Care Paramedic with over 30 years of experience responding to emergencies.
This workshop covers:
· Causes of motorcycle crashes
· Scene safety
· Moving the patient (or not)
· Getting help
· Patient assessment – airway, breathing, bleeding, bones
· Helmet removal
· Patient positioning
· Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
We will provide refreshments, lunch, and a free motorcycle emergency first aid kit.
We can host a maximum of 30 people for each workshop (first in, first served), and we will send confirmation emails as people register.
