JTP FREE winter bike SPIN classes for Ironmaori & Triathlon
Spin Class Beginners sessions - 5:45pm Tues 27th & Thurs 29th May
Location: Arias Farm, 396 Clayton Rd – if wet park along drive, with left wheel up on curb, if dry park in the paddock
Bikes and information are provided for this first night, but if you have an old bike and want to know if it will work, please do bring it along.
Beginner night is where we give you the program and help you get setup for your first spin class.
BRING: Large floor towel, small face towel, drink bottle, bike shoes, running shoes, headlight only if you have one.
FITTINGS: If you DON’T have your own bike and/or trainer, pm me and come earlier at 5:15pm
Spin Classes every Tues & Thurs 6pm sharp – June to Sep
This is where you normally ride your own bike or ours, mounted on a wind trainer, undercover. Perfect training for your first triathlon, Ironmaori, or even Ironman – but no scary roads (yet).
We will follow instructions on how fast/hard different segments will be, but ALWAYS to your ability, so no one feels like the pleb mashing away in their own sweat-shower…
Every Tues/Thurs over Winter – 45 mins spin, 10min jog/walk
Session: 5mins warmup where we teach you about gears and what the instructions mean, then 45mins of bike spin workout, finish with 15mins very short jog/wog/walk down the road and back.
Venue: Undercover on deck, so this class runs in all weather. Solar lights along drive.
Challenge: You will all get a turn on the power unit, and there is a season challenge for the most power improvement over the program!
Limits: Max 15 attendees, FBFC (First Booked First Confirmed). Children 10yrs+ welcome on their own bike with a parent that fully supervises. Koha always welcomed.
Another fabulous and free session with Jogging The Powerpoles
