Tour de Bute

Hi Folks,
Finally got a date set for “Tour de Bute” The reason for the delay is that it is also 30 years anniversary of Bute Wheelers and wanted to combine the 2 together.
TDB will take place on Saturday 27th September, which is part of Glasgow weekend so hopefully we can get some of you to stay over for a celebrating drink to the Bute wheelers and the 1st TDB even a Sunday social might be on the cards 😊

Meeting up in Guilford Square at 8.45am so 8am ferry from Wemyss bay should work. Depending on numbers and ability the group might be split up. This is not a race nor is it a sportive and will take place on an open road therefore highway code needs to be respected.

Tour de Bute is 120k (75miles) long with 1208m (3965 feet) of climbing and is done in a figure of eight covering most major roads so when arriving back in town we gather again in Guilford square where lunch and drinks can be purchased. A shorter route is also planned. When the tour is finished we meet up in Bute yard around 4 – 4.30pm for a celebratery drink and Bute wheelers presentation.
