COMPASS is a standardized team-mentoring program created by Navy spouses, for Navy spouses. While it is designed primarily for those new to the Navy, all Navy spouses are welcome to participate. The curriculum covers essential topics such as the Navy's mission, history, organization, customs and traditions, rights and benefits, deployment, pay, relocation, interpersonal communication, and ways to invest in personal growth and community engagement.
Sessions are offered in three formats: in-person, hybrid, and virtual. We encourage you to register for an in-person or hybrid session in your area to connect with local spouses and learn about local resources. If no sessions are available nearby, you may register for any virtual session that fits your schedule.
