We are open to all Modern Bike Riders!
Put a "Race of Champions" Team together for Saturday and send in your pre-entry by July 28th or come and race a Support Class with us (no pre-entry required)!
On Sunday we will run our regular Midwest Vintage Motocross Classes. Saturday will not be an AMA points paying event.
The Race of Champions on Saturday represents the “team work aspect” of a competitive and challenging race. Our goal is to match teammates and competitors young and old on 5 different era bikes as a team of 5 riders. Each team of a specific era bike will be scored in their own motos (two) for a yet to be determined set of laps and the finishes recorded and put together with the other moto finishes of each team with the LOWEST SCORE combined to determine the overall winner.
The top ten (10) teams will get plaques for all their riders for their respected finish.
In the past most teams have been struggling to find a bike for ROC #1. Therefore, we decided to open up the class to bikes 1977 and older (was 1975). We still encourage teams to find true vintage bikes for the spirit of the race, but we want to make it easier to complete a team.
THE CLASS STRUCTURE
ROC #1 – 1977 AND OLDER
ROC #2 – 1978 TO 1981.
ROC #3 – 1982 TO 1989
ROC #4 – 1990 TO 2001
ROC #5 - 2002 TO Today
The ROC Event on Saturday will be PRE-ENTRY ONLY and the CUTOFF date is July 28th . Entry Fee includes: Sign-up fee, trophy for every rider of the top ten (10) teams, 1 Midwest VMX promotional item per rider.
Get creative and come up with a unique and cool team name!
