Elite Athletics Academy Football Camp is designed for youth players (Grages 3rd-8th) looking to improve their game! Through position-specific drills, skill development, and game strategy, players will gain the tools they need to elevate their performance. This camp fosters a supportive environment where youth athletes can improve their techniques while gaining insights from experienced mentors. Tycen Anderson:
Proud Toledo Rocket where he was voted 3x captain and 3x All Mac honors in his career from 2017-2022. 2017 Mac Champion, 2020 2nd Team All Mac, 2021/22 1st Team All Mac. Receiving academic honors every year as well. Graduating with a degree in professional sales. He now plays for the Cincinnati Bengals going into his 4th season in the NFL. He has been known around the league as one of the top Punt players in the NFL. Using his speed and strength to make game changing plays for Bengals.
Brandon Carter:
Former Toledo Rocket and MAC Champion 2001. Current Head Coach at Ottawa Hills High School. Two time Coach of the Year award winner, including Northwest Ohio Division 6 Coach of the Year in 2023, and also Toledo Area Athletics Conference Coach of the Year in 2024. Also received the National Football Foundation Coaches award in 2023. Set the school record with back to back regional semi final appearances in the state playoffs in 2023 and 2024 with an 11-2 record and a 10-2 record. Had varsity assistant coaching stops at St. John’s Jesuit, Whitmer, Northview, Scott, and Waite High School as well. Honorable Mention All USA Today, 1st team All Ohio and also City League and Northwest Ohio Player of the Year award winner at Start High School.
Devon Price:
Devon is from Toledo, Ohio and currently works for Toledo Fire and Rescue Department. He has experience working with Elite Athletics Academy for 11- years, where he helped out with receivers and helped Brandon Carter with personal training athletes. Devon is an All-American, 3x All-Conference player. Devon ranks 1st all-time at ONU with career receptions, receiving yards, kick return yards, and kick return attempts. He also ranks 2nd all time with 5,539 all-purpose yards. Devon also participated in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Carson, California in 2016. He was the only Division III player to participate in the game out of 113 roster spots.
Jalil Carter:
Jalil Carter brings a wealth of professional football experience and a passion for mentorship to our youth football camp. A standout athlete from St. John's Jesuit High School in Toledo, Ohio, Jalil excelled in both football and track. He continued his athletic journey at the University of Akron, where he made significant contributions as a versatile player for the Zips.Jalil's professional career includes playing as a cornerback for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League (CFL), where he was a key member of the team that clinched victory in the 100th Grey Cup. He also had stints with NFL teams, bringing a broad range of experience from both Canadian and American football arenas. Beyond his on-field accomplishments, Jalil has dedicated himself to coaching and developing young athletes. As a former coach at NIKE Sports Camps, he focuses on imparting skills, discipline, and a love for the game to aspiring football players. Jalil Carter's commitment to nurturing young talent and his extensive experience at various levels of the sport make him an invaluable asset to our youth football camp.
