Due to unforeseen circumstances, the originally scheduled program has been changed. We sincerely thank our new presenters for stepping in, and we appreciate your understanding and support.
Join us on Thursday, August 7th at 7:00 PM at the Rosenberg Civic Center and catch a glimpse of what the Wildlife Center of Texas does to help injured, ill, and orphaned wildlife return to their natural environments. Monica, Jean, and Randolph will share their passion for wildlife through stories about some of the interesting cases that have entered their doors. The audience will meet some of the Center’s education ambassadors — a Harris’s Hawk, Crested Cara Cara, Eastern Screech Owl, and American Kestrel. About the WCT: The mission of the Wildlife Center of Texas is to care for injured, ill, and orphaned wildlife through rehabilitation, release, and public education. We are one of the largest wildlife care facilities in the country, taking in thousands of animals each year – last year, we admitted more than 14,000 animals. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers helps these animals get well, grow up, and return to their natural habitats. The Houston area is surrounded by wildlife, providing an array of essential environmental services. These animals help keep our natural spaces healthy and vibrant. Our efforts at the Wildlife Center offset the impact of urban life on these animals.
