On Sunday, August 10, 2025, Rosenberg First Methodist Church will host a milestone celebration in honor of its 130th Anniversary. Aptly named "Faithful Through the Ages," this heartfelt event will honor God’s continued faithfulness to the church, the community, and generations of families who have worshipped and served through its mission.
It was on August 10, 1895, that a church bell rang for the very first time in Rosenberg. Now, exactly 130 years later, the congregation invites everyone—past and present members, friends, neighbors, and community leaders—to join in commemorating this historic moment.
The celebration will include a special worship service led by guest preacher Rev. Jason Burnham, Trinity Conference Superintendent, followed by a catered fellowship meal. There will be activities for all ages designed to foster connection and celebrate the church’s rich history in a true homecoming spirit. During the event, the church will also share exciting plans for the future.
