Hi Kids! Want to be a Zookeeper for a day?
Our Keeper Kids Program is a specifically designed hands-on day for children aged between 8 - 12 years old who’d like to learn about and work with native animals. The program is run by our team of dedicated Guides and Zookeepers. Participants will learn the daily routines and the role of a Territory Wildlife Park Zookeeper.
DATES: During school holidays between December 2025 and January 2026.

TIME: 9.00am to 2.30pm.
COST: $160 per child, per day.
INCLUDED: Guided activities, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, hat, water bottle and certificate.

Note: Minimum participants numbers (4 registrations) apply for the program to go ahead. If we are unable to fulfil the minimum participants you may be contacted and offered an alternative date or a refund.

Q: Can I accompany my child while they are participating?
A: Take a break and relax; our expert Guides will accompany your child as they undertake the activities. All our Guides have Ochre Cards and First Aid Certificates, and the program is designed so you do not need to attend or supervise your child.
Q: I've opted to be put on the waitlist but haven't been contacted for a spot.
A: When you are on a waitlist it could be we are waiting for someone to confirm their cancellation.. If this happens you will be notified if you are next on the waitlist. The Keeper Kids Program is very popular, so we suggest the best option is to pick another available day, as if you wait for the waitlist spot you may miss out altogether.
