Dominica’s first improv comedy group invites YOU to a show where you write the story.
On Friday, August 22nd at 6PM, join us at the UWI Auditorium in Roseau for Anansi vs Tiger, our very first solo improv theatre show!
What’s improv? Imagine watching a whole series of comedy plays come to life — with no script, no props, and no costumes. Every scene is completely made up on the spot, inspired by your suggestions as the audience. That means no two shows are ever the same- once it’s over, it’s gone forever!
This time, we’re bringing the legendary Caribbean folk rivalry of Anansi vs Tiger to the stage. Two teams (Team Anansi and Team Tiger) will go head-to-head in a series of hilarious improvisation games, but you get to decide who wins. Will Anansi outwit Tiger yet again, or will Tiger finally get his revenge?
Expect the unexpected: maybe bowling on the moon, maybe a flying pig, maybe something even wilder that only you could come up with. One thing’s for sure- you’ll laugh, you’ll be surprised, and you’ll leave saying, “I’ve never seen anything like that before.”
