SOUTHROME COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION MONTHLY MEETING. A successful meeting took place, focusing on a specific issue, and Ralph Davis managed to find out when the City Commissioners would hold a public meeting. Please pay attention to the instructions.

At the Community meeting Monday (7-7) there was testimony on the speeds some buses are traveling within the neighborhood.

There will be a public forum regarding improvement of services.

This would be an excellent time to bring "that" issue and other public transportation improvements to the attention of the city staff,
for those who can attend.

Traffic Issue on Peachtree Street:
I just finished a call with Melvin Jones and 90% of the neighbors are satisfied with the traffic flow remaining as is.
I would say this is a non issue. We can discuss it at the next monthly meeting for those attendees.
HOWEVER,
There was consensus among all of the transit bus speeds.
