May 10 HHW and Electronics Collection Event

The Rome-Floyd Recycling Center will host a Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 412 Lavender Drive in West Rome. The event is for Rome/Floyd residents only, and will be held from 9:00AM until appointments are full. Appointments are required and can be made online beginning April 10, or over the phone beginning May 1.

We will fill earlier appointment times first, then open up later times as needed. Please be sure to have proof of Floyd County residency for the event (vehicle tag, license, utility bill, etc.).

HHW items typically collected at these events include liquids like used motor oil, paint, herbicides and pesticides.

Electronic items typically collected include computers, televisions, recorders, and most any peripheral type equipment like printers and keyboards.
