BOULDER DASH 40th Anniversary Master Challenge Rome

To mark the global release of the eagerly awaited BOULDER DASH 40th Anniversary on 24 July 2025 two high-profile events will take place: two further "Master Challenge" qualifier tournaments will be held on this day at the Computerspielemuseum Berlin and the GAMM Museum Rome. The best players will secure their tickets for the BOULDER DASH World Cup on 23 August in Cologne. Adam Strzelczyk has already qualified, having won the tournament at the Pixel Heaven Festival in Warsaw on 7 June, and will now represent Poland at the World Cup during gamescom.

With the anniversary title, the cult game from the 80s is experiencing a spectacular reissue - with new leves, modernised graphics and exciting challenges for Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, PC and MAC. Today publishes BBG Entertainment also released the official trailer for the game, which whets the appetite for more.


Marco Accordi Rickards, Director of the GAMM Museums in Rome, adds: „The fact that the World Cup qualifiers are taking place simultanenously in Berlin and Rome shows the international appeal this game still has after 40 years. We are delighted to be part of this anniversary with GAMM.“
