Occult synergies lead Aganoor to form on the day of the autumnal equinox of 2023, with immediate clear intentions, their bold sound bridges the late 70s and mid 90s.
The oppressive weight of doom metal is wrapped in a gothic breeze, and blended with the retro tones of the rawest of stoner rock. Aganoor music is a claustrophobic, yet hypnotic experience, characterized by massive, down-tuned riffs and psychedelic atmosphere.
Aganoor is a heavy ritual shrouded in mist on the shores of a lake.
The band has great live impact, with performances crushing the audience on a wall of sound.
Bio ✶
La band è nata su idea di Anth M., all’inizio del 2023. Durante i primi mesi di prove la line-up non era definita e ci sono stati un po di cambi, nel frattempo nascevano le prime canzoni.
Nell’estate successiva A.M. incontra Stephen D., i due si conoscono per precedenti esperienze, con il suo ingresso i brani vengo strutturati maggiormente, in quel momento la band è in trio, senza ancora un batterista stabile. Da li a poco, Alex Giuliani, già amico di vecchia data di A.M., entra in formazione. Batterista di stampo metal, il suo tocco pesante aiuta a definire meglio il sound della band. In autunno si aggiunge Danilo P. e completa la line-up, la sua voce, versatile e potente, si adatta fin da subito ai brani, la band è quindi pronta per entrare in studio, cosa che farà a Marzo 2024.
Gli Aganoor sono tutti membri ed ex componenti di altri gruppi, realtà abbastanza note dell’underground romano, nonché della scena metal della capitale.
La musica è lenta, le atmosfere profonde, i brani sono Heavy, la presenza del Doom è costante, cosi come certi umori gotici e claustrofobici. Il sound è massiccio, compatto, tipico dello Stoner.
Un vortice psichedelico in continuo movimento porta l’ascoltatore in un limbo senza fine.
“Doomerism” è stato pubblicato il 6 Giugno via My Kingdom Music / BloodRock Records, formato CD/LP e su tutte le piattaforme digitale, preceduto da singoli/video.

“Doomerism” è un disco per lo più doom, con elementi gothic metal ed heavy psych, qualcosa di stoner, ma in modo marginale. Il sound è caldo, avvolgente, registrato in analogico presso i Green Mountain Audio Studio di Danilo Silvestri. L'artwork è stato curato da Mirkow Gastow (Pentagram).

Opening_ DUNE AURORA
Dune Aurora is a fuzz/heavy rock band from Turin, Italy, founded in 2020. In summer 2022 the band recorded their first EP – Lonely Town, containing four tracks. In summer 2023 they recorded three more songs at Magma Studio in Turin, Italy, which are being released as singles (Solar Reward, Sail and Fire) along with three music videos. The band has been performing live in northern Italy, individually or sharing the stage with other bands of the stoner rock scene. In 2024, the band has signed with Argonauta/Octopus Rising to release their debut album.
