About the event

Refugees and Migrants in our Common Home: Mobilizing Academic Communities
Join a global initiative to mobilize academic communities for action on teaching, research, service and advocacy for migrants and refugees

About this Event

Join us in Rome from October 1-3, 2025, just before the Jubilee for Migrants and Refugees (October 4-5, 2025), for a global gathering of academics, researchers, NGOs, and community partners. Together, we will co-create an Action Plan addressing critical issues affecting migrants and refugees. The event will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and working groups where participants will collaborate to develop actionable strategies for higher education institutions to enhance teaching, research, and service to migrant and refugee communities.

Visit here for more information on the global initiative.
