Community Input Meeting: ADA Compliance

Rolling Meadows Park District invites people with disabilities and their family members to share their preferences and priorities regarding accessibility Thursday, August 21, from 6-7:30pm at the Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive.

Shelley Zuniga of the WTG Accessibility Practice will review the ADA requirements for existing parks and facilities, discuss some factors other districts have considered in setting priorities, and share some images of what the access audit teams saw at Park District sites. Then, importantly, the audience shares information about their access priorities, helping to shape the transition plan.
