The Mills and Springs of the Ozarks with Richard McGee

Join the State Historical Society of Missouri - Rolla as we are joined by research Richard McGee as he discusses his latest project. McGee will cover the history of western expansion, Civil War, and industrialization and how those events shaped the milling economy of our region. He will also discuss the technology that was used in the mills in the Ozarks, and the associated businesses that sprung up at mill sites.
