Torsdag aften åbner vi dørene til kunst og fællesskab – alle er velkomne.
Martha Pohlmann viser fotografiske værker skabt under sit kunstnerophold her i oktober under titlen "Arbeitstitel: Von der Zelle zur Sonne / Working Title: From the Cell to the Sun." Samtidig præsenterer Tobi Hild en række tegninger og malerier fra de seneste år.
Pohlmanns fotografier undersøger samspillet mellem natur og menneske gennem de spor, vores tilstedeværelse efterlader i landskabet. Billeder af skov, hav, himmel og sten møder syntetiske rester af menneskelig aktivitet og afslører en ny slags økologi, hvor fugle og andre livsformer tilpasser sig forandrede omgivelser. I centrum står en synlig dialog mellem det naturlige og det kunstige.
Tobias Hilds værker befinder sig i krydsfeltet mellem det surrealistiske og det illustrative. Hans tegninger og malerier vækker nysgerrighed og inviterer beskueren ind i drømmelignende universer fulde af finurlige karakterer og symbolik.
Begge kunstnere har studeret på Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst i Leipzig, hvor de hver især har udviklet deres praksis og billedsprog.

Thursday evening we open the doors to art and community – everyone is welcome.
Martha Pohlmann presents photographic works created during her artist residency this October, under the title "Arbeitstitel: Von der Zelle zur Sonne / Working Title: From the Cell to the Sun." At the same time, Tobi Hild shows a selection of drawings and paintings from recent years.
Pohlmann’s photographs explore the interplay between nature and human presence through the traces we leave behind in the landscape. Images of forests, sea, sky, and rock are juxtaposed with synthetic remnants of human activity, revealing a new kind of ecology in which birds and other life forms adapt to altered environments. At the core is a visible dialogue between natural structures and artificial materials.
Tobi Hild’s works exist in the space between the surreal and the illustrative. His drawings and paintings spark curiosity and invite the viewer into dreamlike worlds filled with whimsical characters and symbolic imagery.
Both artists studied at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig, where they have each developed their artistic practice and visual language.
