Docent Training

Are you curious about volunteering at the Shawnee Indian Mission Historic Site? Docents are trained museum volunteers who help to lead groups, both adults and youth, through the history of the site with various activities and programs.

Attending the docent training isn't an obligation to serve, but come learn more about the history, the programs we offer, and open the door to the possibilities of teaching others about this impactful National Historic Landmark.
