Star Party at the Imperial Centre

Join members of the Tar River Astronomy Club as we kick off our Fall observing season with a FREE September Star Party at the Imperial Centre. We'll have telescopes trained on the Moon and several beautiful star clusters currently visible overhead.

We'll have experienced local observers on hand to help set up and get you started with your own scope, if you need it. Think of it as a check-up or tune-up for your equipment! Of course, we'll also provide a variety of scopes through which you may look!

Observing begins right at sunset, weather permitting. Close in parking may be limited due to construction equipment in the main parking lot.
