It's that time again!
October gets super-full of delightfully spooky things. Many of which I want to go to. So I've decided that my Spooky Game Day will happen in November. This time, the second weekend in November. (Because I know a bunch of you have another event to go to on the first weekend.)
Just a reminder: Never feel bad about missing this! Especially if you're not feeling well... stay home and get healthy because that's more important. And if you have other fun things to do, that's even better! I just want to hear about them later.
Drop by and play some spooky board and card games with me (and whatever other lost souls show up). I've acquired a bunch more over the past year and most of them have just been gathering dust.
I'll post some of the games that have shown up over the past couple of years, as well as the old favorites that have been gathering a little (extra) dust. So keep an eye out for notifications.
This won't be anywhere near as fancy or well-stocked as my International TableTop Day shindig earlier in the year... I can't swing that kind of budget twice a year (yet).
Bring food. I'll have some basics, of course, but this isn't a catered event (yet). If there are people and interest, there are plenty of takeout places that deliver... and the supermarket is just across the street.
Drinks: I have some soda, water, and some (non-alcoholic) cider that I'll warm up and throw some more flavor into. If you want alcohol, bring it (and then take it home with you if there's any left... I don't drink and it would be wasted on me). Ice may or may not be a good idea, depending on what people bring. I have cups and things.
Parking: It would be best if you parked on the main hunk of Turkey Branch... the cul-de-sac I live on is kind of over-loaded with cars in general and it's tricky to turn around as is.
Other people: If you bring them, they're your responsibility. I haven't ever had any real problems. I expect that to continue. Open invite, so, feel free to bring friends. If we run out of space in my house... I have a yard now...
