Kick Off the 2025 Music at the Museum Series with Riptide
The Texas Maritime Museum is proud to launch this year’s Music at the Museum series with an exciting performance by Riptide, a high-energy band known for their nostalgic blend of classic American sounds. Join us on Tuesday, September 16th, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM for an evening filled with music that spans decades and generations.
Riptide’s setlist flows through rock ‘n’ roll from the 1950s and ‘60s, sun-soaked surf tunes, swinging dance numbers, and the twangy charm of old-school honky tonk. It’s a timeless mix that brings energy, fun, and a vintage flair to the stage—perfect for anyone who appreciates the roots of American music.
Set on the museum’s scenic lawn in the heart of Rockport, Music at the Museum offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere where guests can enjoy top-tier local talent under the open sky. Gates open at 6:00 PM, giving attendees plenty of time to find the perfect spot—bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets and settle in for an unforgettable evening.
A food truck will be available on-site, selling an assortment of refreshments to keep you fueled throughout the evening. Whether you’re dancing near the stage or lounging with friends, this is the perfect way to ease into fall on the Texas coast. While you’re at it, stop and visit the TMM Info Table and learn more about the fantastic education programs, exhibits, and membership opportunities that are available at the Texas Maritime Museum.
Admission is free and open to all. This concert marks the first in the 2025 Music at the Museum series, setting the tone for a season of community, culture, and live music.
