ABOUT THE DIRECTOR and WRITER
Director Michael Russillo grew up in Camden and studied film production at Keene State College. Working with his partner, Piper Pavelich, they collaborated on a story that’s deeply personal to them. With this being Michael’s directorial debut and the largest narrative project he’s created, this was a unique experience.
Writer Piper Pavelich, on the other hand, is a writer both professionally, as a journalist, and at heart. Piper, Michael, and their crew started pre-production in the Fall of 2023, with production taking place in the Summer of 2024, mostly in the Mid-Coast Maine area.
Russillo is a partner and co-founder of Room 310 Media, a collection of creatives who aim to bring storytellers’ ideas to life. Rivers Edge is Room 310’s first feature-length film.
