Just for the Halibut

Join MCFA for our annual Just for the Halibut event, hosted this year at the fabulous PRIMO restaurant in Rockland! Two-time James Beard Award-winning chef Melissa Kelly will demo cutting a whole halibut in real time while guests hear from the fisherman himself. Local Port Clyde fisherman Gerry Cushman will share stories from the boat - what it was like to fish for halibut with his father and how fishermen catch this particular species. Enjoy a selection of halibut hors d'oeuvres, passed apps, and small plates.

Your ticket purchase ($150pp) includes all that incredible food and one drink ticket. Guests will also get to bring home fresh fillet in custom MCFA cooler bags to cook at home.
