About the event

Rockhampton Zoo 100 Year Celebration!
Join us for a community open day to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rockhampton Zoo and the official opening of the new Rockhampton Botanical Gardens and Zoo Visitor Hub!

There will be birthday cake, face painting, free activities, Darumbal traditional dancing, bee hotel and bee garden workshops, native plant giveaway, animal encounter raffle and more!

Celebration will be held at the new Rockhampton Botanic Gardens and Zoo visitor hub.
