After nearly 40 years in the music and entertainment industry, one truth has stood the test of time:

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

My first performances as a teenager were simple—just my voice and a guitar. Over the next four decades, I threw everything at it: bands, lights, smoke machines, multimedia shows. But through all of that, one piece of feedback kept coming back, no matter the audience:

“We can’t hear the words.”

From Stock Camps under the stars to street corners in London and Barcelona, I’ve come to understand that there’s a powerful magic in the stripped-back, honest connection between artist and audience.

‘Songs and Stories’ isn’t just a return to my roots—it’s a celebration of them. A night of music, memories, and moments that remind us we’re not all that different. The details of our lives may vary wildly, but the foundations are the same: Love. Health. Purpose. The cornerstones of happiness.

I’ve lived a lot of life, and I’m bringing those stories to The Great Western on June 8. I’d love for you to join me.
