Meet the Night Fliers with Stillman Nature Center

Join us for a hoot of a Halloween evening as Mark Spreyer, Executive Director of Stillman Nature Center, brings a bewitching cast of live owls to Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden! From the eerie trill of the screech owl to the ghostly glide of the barn owl, you’ll meet some of nature’s most mysterious nighttime hunters—including the formidable great horned owl. Discover the legends and lore behind these feathered phantoms and learn how these permanently injured raptors now help educate and inspire.

This family-friendly program takes place from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM in our Ghostly Market on Thursday, October 9th—just as darkness begins to fall over the gardens...
