Join us for some Fall Fun and celebrate 25 years of dog park fun!
The Rockford Park District’s Canine Corners Dog Parks invites the public to enjoy outdoor fun with their dogs at a free “Fall Pawty” open house event scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10 am until 1 pm (rain date: Sept. 13) at the Canine Corners Searls location, 4950 Safford Rd. (off S. Central Ave.)
The event includes a Rockford Police Department K9 demonstration at 11:00am. A dog costume contest with prizes at 12:00pm for the most creative/unique costume, funniest costume, and cutest costume. Food trucks, raffle prizes, extra toys in the park and more!
Donations to help with operation and maintenance of the dog parks will be gratefully accepted at the event.
The event is open to the public, however, all dogs in attendance must be spayed/neutered. If entering the off-leash area, all patrons and their dogs must abide by the rules of the dog park (i.e., proof of current rabies vaccines, no puppies younger than six months of age, and more); for details of all policies and regulations, visit
