Beginning Crochet

Learn basic crochet stitches-slip stitch, single, half double, double, treble, and magic ring-plus invisible joins. Learn an easy granny square pattern, create 12 squares, and assemble them into a stylish tote bag. Tips for smooth stitching and frustration-free assembly will be shared.

SUPPLIES: A set of crochet hooks and light-colored, size 4 yarn (dark colors or sizes outside 4 can be harder to work with). For a sturdier bag, consider a 2-3 mm polyester or polypropylene cord (approx. 670 yards). No class 3/14, 4/4.
