This is a car meet in Rock Springs, Wyoming. We will be meeting at the White Mountain Mall parking lot to the left of the Sapporo’s hibachi restaurant. Please read all the rules, details, and times provided in the event details on Facebook for every event due to continuous changes in times and rules.
Rules:
No revving: Please no revving of vehicles or bikes.
No racing: This is highly illegal due to exceeding the posted speed limits of our cruise route.
No burnouts or drifting: Wreckless driving is against the law and not allowed at our meets.
No drama or fighting: This means raising of voices, exciting other drivers and creating conflict. Physical fighting will immediately ban you from the group and will lead to a police investigation often resulting in life changing charges. If we have disagreements, these topics are encouraged to be brought up in the group chat, in a post, or with one of the admins away from the event that is currently being held.
No blocking or obstructing normal flow of traffic: We might get spit up by leaving the parking lot or split up by stop lights. Do not stop in the road to block traffic to let others out. There are stop signs and other obstacles in the cruise to get people to catch up with the leader.
These rules are what local authorities love to look for when shutting down car meets. We are a complete, legal group. The city and county know very well about our meets and recreation. We must remember what is legal and what isn’t. Meeting up with your car/truck/bike buddies and cruising through the city at the speed limit is legal. There is nothing the cops can do about that. It’s when we break these rules, these authorities can start banning and shutting down our group for good. That being said, thank you to everyone that has participated with us and that has followed these rules to make this group as big as it is now. We appreciate every one of you guys coming out and joining in on the fun. We truly cannot have a car meet without people. We encourage everyone to continue coming out to grow the numbers in the local car community and continue the memories of the great Rock Springs old timers tradition of “cruising the drag”.
By showing up to the Sin City 307 car meets, you are willfully volunteering your time to our group. These group admins and owners of the group are not responsible for damages, stolen items, fines, or any other conflict you come across at our meet and cruises. We try our hardest to make rule sets to help everyone have a safe time at our meets, but at the end, you are responsible for your own safety and belongings!
