About the event

Fourth Annual Polyrhythms Quad City Black Authors’ Forum
Join us for the Fourth Annual QC Black Authors’ Forum!

The event, which is part of the Polyrhythms Bill Bell Jazz and Heritage Festival will begin at 6:00 pm. Local Black authors will discuss their books and answer questions. Books will be available for purchase.

There will be a Book Fair Polyrythms Jazz and Heritage Festival on Saturday, August 23rd on the grounds of the facility. Books will again be available for purchase.

Our goals for the Author's Forum and Fair include:

1. Introducing the Quad City community to local published authors.

2. Providing authors a platform to sell their books, share their process and passion, and nspire future authors.

3. Continuing to build on Polyrhythms/Jazz and Heritage Festival's mission to provide cultural and learning activities that enhance the quality of life for our
audience/community.
