Visiting Michigan Cider Mills

Scattered across Michigan are more than 50 charming cider mills, each is a unique, independently owned gem celebrating the bounty of the fall harvest. These local businesses offer an array of farm-fresh delights, from crisp produce and local honey to homemade baked goods and nostalgic, old-fashioned treats. That said, it’s the fresh-pressed cider—paired perfectly with warm, irresistible donuts—that draws crowds back to these mills every autumn. Southeast Michigan is fortunate to host several of these treasures within our community, each providing a distinct experience for visitors.

Local writer and cider mill aficionado Michael Dwyer will showcase these seasonal gems, sharing insights to help you maximize your visit. The evening will wrap up with a sweet cider tasting.
