RHPL's Spooky Writing Contest

Calling all Writers! Submit your spooky stories to RHPL's Spooky Writing Contest. Three winners will earn a prize and get to share their story on the RHPL news page!

Submissions are open until October 17 at 6 p.m. at https://events.getlocalhop.com/spooky-writing-contest/event/kPBucyk0n1/

Submission Requirements:

12 point font
PDF format
Times New Roman, Courier, or Arial font
Double-spaced
1 story per contestant
2,000 words or less
The story must be appropriate for general audiences.
Please include First and Last Name and Library card number on the header of the document submission.

Judging
Judges will consider these qualifications when reviewing submissions:
Originality, Imagery, and a Spooky factor.

Winners will be announced just in time for Halloween on October 27.
