Learn to Ride confidently

It’s never too late to learn to ride a bicycle. If you have never learned or could use a quick refresher, join this four-week course to guide you through the process of learning to ride a cycle.

Our friendly instructors will help you to get going on two wheels, turn and stop safely and help build your confidence on a bike in a group setting.

As the sessions progress, we are likely to ride around Springfield Park and maybe farther afield, but progression will be dictated by the group. This is an entry level course, and no one will be left behind.

16+ We will provide the bikes and helmets, just dress for the weather (rain doesn’t usually stop play) and come down to the park. If you love it and want to keep on riding, you can hire a bike from the library for free.
