The Canned Dash

The Canned Dash – Hosted by Nueces County 4-H GLOBE Participants

GLOBE (Global Leadership Opportunities Beyond Education) is a year-long Texas 4-H leadership and citizenship program for youth in grades 7–11 that focuses on culture, poverty awareness, sustainable agriculture, and service-learning .

As part of their community service efforts, Nueces County 4-H GLOBE participants are hosting The Canned Dash, a fun run benefiting the Coastal Bend Food Bank.

Participants are encouraged to bring 2 or more canned food items as their entry donation. All collected items will support families in our local community.

This event reflects the heart of the GLOBE program — identifying needs and taking action through service.
