Subhira Quintet, Chilean Jazz!

The Subhira Quintet is one of Chile’s leading World Jazz bands, with over 30 years of experience and 21 released albums. Their music fuses Indigenous sounds from the southern regions of South America with experimental and progressive elements, drawing from folk, jazz, and contemporary classical music.

They have performed at major jazz, folk, world, and global music festivals and venues across Chile, North and South America, Australia, and Europe.

The ensemble features analog keyboards, piano, and ethnic instruments performed by composer Subhira (Rodrigo Cepeda), alongside violin, cello, flute, and drum set — all played by top-tier musicians from both the classical and jazz scenes.

The Arts & Life Circle is a gorgeous, renovated church located in Roblin, Ontario, just north of Napanee. The space is intimate and resonant, just the perfect size for listening and dancing with new friends and music-lovers from all over Lennox & Addington!
