A group chat will be created to keep participants up to date on what to bring and what we might expect to see.

We will plan on meeting at the Bath / Amherst Ferry dock for 7 45Am.

The day will consist of driving on the Island and looking for Hawks, Waterfowl and Owls. As well, views of Eastern Coyote, White Taiked Deer and Red Fox can be expected.

We will be visiting the privately owned Owl Woods which will entail a hike through the snow of about 4km in total.

Amherst Island is well known for its possibility of Owls in certain irruption years. At this time we cannot be sure of what to expect. Updates will be created in the group chat as they become available.

In order to protect the wildlife and private property we will be excersizing the highest level of wildlife viewing etiquette.
