Koornlands River Cleanup

On World Wetlands Day, 2 February, we invite all Swellendam residents to get together with their neighbours, families or friends and help care for our Koornlands River (Koringlandsrivier).

There is no formal starting point or time. Simply choose a section of the river that is close to you, grab a few black bags when you have a spare hour or two, and clear litter from your chosen stretch.

Every small effort makes a difference, and together these actions add up to a cleaner, healthier river.
