ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS:
We are so excited for Prom 2025, and the date is quickly approaching! Just a few reminders and notes for Seniors, Juniors, and their guests who are planning to attend this year’s event. This year’s WBHS Prom will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center in downtown Roanoke. Students will be able to begin checking in at 5:45 pm with the catered buffet dinner service, beginning at 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Tables will not be reserved for couples or groups, so they first come, first-served on tables.
Tentative schedule for the evening:
5:45 pm Check-in begins
6:00 –7:30 pm Dinner service & Karaoke
7:30 – 8:00 Senior Walk, King & Queen Announcement
8:00- 10:00 pm Dance
Prom ticket sales dates:
April 21st- April 30th
Ticket price: $50 per person
** Please note that tickets will not be sold after April 30th for catering and planning purposes, so plan accordingly.
The ticket price includes the catered buffet dinner.
Tickets go on sale Monday, April 21st- Wednesday, April 30th during all lunches. Cash or check only to WBHS.
Each student is allowed to bring ONE guest.
There are FREE parking options in downtown Roanoke and around the hotel. Students may park in the Hotel Roanoke parking with all applicable fees.
All students who will be bringing guests who do not currently attend WBHS will need to fill out a Prom Guest Approval Form (this form will be used as well for the After Prom) that can be found in the main office, outside of the library, or on Canvas (WBHS Junior/Senior spaces) and returned to Mrs. Damasco-Farrington by April 30th in the library or the main office. Guests who attend middle school or are 21 or older are NOT permitted to attend this event.
We will have karaoke at the dance during dinner. If you would like to sing a song, please make your song request hereLinks to an external site. by Friday, April 25th, to make sure the DJ has your song.
If you have songs that you would like to hear played at prom, you can request them ahead of time. It's so easy, anyone can do it!
Here is how it works

3. Click on the "GUEST REQUESTS" Link
4. Enter the following information

From there, you can search their extensive music collection and add the songs you want to hear. The list then compiles and shows how often each song is requested. The final list is then sent to the DJ 1 day before the event in the order of most to least requested to make sure they have all of the music and can pre-make a playlist with all of the popular hits!
