Meditation Retreat

You are invited to a Meditation Retreat
Saturday, August 9, 2025
8:30 am to 3:30 pm

A collaboration between Unity of Roanoke Valley and Buddha Mountain Center.

The retreat will explore meditation from both a Unity and a Buddhist perspective. The workshop will review and expand upon the teachings of the first workshop in 2024. Newcomers are welcome. Beginning meditators are welcome. Everyone is welcome!

Retreat Topics Include:

~ What is Meditation? Mindfulness? Prayer?
~ Basics of Meditation and Meditation Postures
~ Progressively deeper levels of meditation
~ Meditation as a way to see the world and life more clearly
~ Lunch will include a Mindful Eating Practice
~ Time for Questions and Answers
