Live Music - The Duo (Chris Hammock and Dan Snyder) with Professor Bill Stanton

This show will be open to the public and live-streamed from the 3rd Street Facebook page. THE DUO (CHRIS HAMMOCK AND DAN SNYDER) will be our featured performer with the show starting at 8:00 PM EST. PROFESSOR BILL STANTON will open at 7:30 PM EST. The LiveStream feed will begin at 7:30 PM.

At 8:00 PM EST, we welcome back The Duo! Dan Snyder & Chris Hammock combined their talents in early 2023 & began carving out their own unique niche in the music community. With a setlist that spans a century, you’ll revisit the likes of Hoagy Carmichael & Ray Charles while meandering your way through to the likes of Chris Stapleton & Jason Isbell. At 75 years of age, Dan brings with him not only a wealth of original works & covers, but a masterful way with the guitar & a voice that conveys the beauty within each line of a song. At 40 years of age, Chris brings not only an assortment of original works & covers, but a dynamic vocal performance highlighting the heartbeat in every song. At 7:30 PM EST, we welcome back Professor Bill Stanton! Professor Bill is a longtime stalwart of the local songwriting community and member of the Southwest Virginia Songwriters Association (SVSA). With his trademark 12 string guitar and songs ranging from snarky to spiritual, Bill always keeps it fresh and entertaining.

Now in our 39th year, 3rd Street Coffeehouse is a non-profit listening room run by volunteers and never has a cover charge.
