Half-Day Shape Note Sing & Singing School

Join us at Raleigh Court UMC in Roanoke VA for an afternoon of shape note singing!

The first hour will be a "singing school" where we’ll give an introduction to this living tradition and teach the basics of this style of unaccompanied harmony singing. This will be followed by open-call singing from The Sacred Harp (1991 edition) with the opportunity to go over parts as needed.

Event is free. All are welcome. No experience required.
