Ashra, fiery and restless, has longed for freedom all her life. Trapped in an arranged marriage to Aacro who is beginning to resemble the very man she longs to escape—her own father. Just as the walls cave in, she stumbles into a copper shop during a trip to the sea and finds herself face to face with a boy she once knew…and loved.

Of Ashes is an imaginative retelling of the woman caught in adultery (John 8) and the leper (Matthew 8)
